42k Instagram. 22k TikTok. 800+ YouTube. Two years, one practice.

Pennington Facial Plastics came to us as a growing practice with exceptional clinical results and almost no digital footprint. Over two years we built the full stack: content strategy, educational video production, AI-enhanced marketing systems, and SEO/GEO optimization that puts the practice in front of patients who are already searching.

Grown from near zero over 24 months of consistent, strategy-led content.

Where we started

Pennington Facial Plastics is led by Dr. Lindsey Pennington, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Shreveport, Louisiana. When we began working together, the practice had a modest social presence and a website that did not reflect the quality of work happening inside the clinic.

The goal was not vanity metrics. It was building a digital presence that earns patient trust before the first consultation, positions Dr. Pennington as an authority in her specialty, and generates a consistent pipeline of qualified inquiries through organic reach.

Content strategy

Facial plastic surgery is a trust-dependent purchase. Patients spend months, sometimes years, researching before booking a consultation. The platform that wins their trust before that call is the one that shows up consistently with content that is honest, educational, and clinically credible.

We built a content strategy around three pillars: patient education (what to expect from procedures, recovery timelines, common questions), practitioner expertise (Dr. Pennington's approach and philosophy, behind-the-scenes surgical preparation), and social proof in the form of documented patient transformations with appropriate consent.

Each platform received a format designed for how its audience consumes content. Instagram gets polished short-form Reels and static education posts. TikTok gets more direct, candid, high-energy clips that perform with a discovery audience. YouTube gets longer educational content: full procedure explanations, detailed FAQ videos, and recovery guides that serve patients who are already booked and patients who are still deciding.

"Consistent educational content builds trust before a patient ever walks through the door."

Educational video production

Video is the primary format in medical aesthetics marketing. Patients want to see the surgeon speak, explain, and demonstrate knowledge. We built a production workflow around Dr. Pennington that treats her time as the scarce resource it is: structured scripts reviewed for clinical accuracy, efficient filming blocks, and a post-production pipeline that turns one recording session into multiple platform-ready formats.

Topics ranged from procedure-specific explainers (facelift anatomy, brow lift recovery, what blepharoplasty actually corrects) to broader trust-building content (how to choose a facial plastic surgeon, questions to ask in a consultation, what board certification means). Each piece was built to rank, to share, and to convert.

AI-enhanced marketing systems

At scale, content production becomes a logistics problem. We built systems that reduce the time between raw footage and published post: automated caption generation from transcripts, AI-assisted thumbnail and cover creation, scheduling pipelines that post to multiple platforms on the same cadence without manual intervention. Dr. Pennington's team spends time on the patient-facing work. The distribution runs on its own.

Repurposing is a core part of the system. A 10-minute YouTube video becomes four short clips for Reels and TikTok, a written FAQ post for the blog, an email newsletter segment, and a pinned Instagram post. One piece of content, many surfaces, no extra shoots.

SEO and GEO optimization

Search engine optimization for a local medical practice is a different discipline than generic SEO. We worked on both the practice website and the content library to target the search terms that matter: procedure-specific keywords, recovery-related long-tail queries, and local-intent searches for facial plastic surgery in Louisiana and the surrounding region.

GEO optimization (generative engine optimization) ensures the practice appears accurately in AI-assisted search results, which are increasingly the first touchpoint for patients researching elective procedures. This means structured data, consistent entity information across directories, and content written to answer the specific questions AI systems pull from when generating answers.

The results

Over two years, the practice went from a minimal digital presence to one of the most-followed facial plastic surgery accounts in the region. Instagram grew to over 42,000 followers. TikTok crossed 22,000 followers. YouTube crossed 800 subscribers with a library of long-form educational content that continues to drive organic traffic.

More important than any follower count: the practice has a content asset library that compounds. Every video continues to generate views, every blog post continues to rank, and the social audience built over two years is the warmest possible pool of future patients.

Why this matters beyond this client

Healthcare marketing has historically been cautious with social media. The practices that move early build moats. An educational following of 40,000 people who follow a surgeon by choice is not the same as a paid ad audience. It cannot be replicated quickly. It represents trust accumulated over years of consistent, credible content.

Any practice in elective healthcare, aesthetics, dermatology, orthopedics, and beyond, has the same opportunity. The content strategy changes. The system behind it does not.
